David Harris, Regional Business Development Manager
Dave has worked with EC since September, 1992. He has really moved through the ranks, doing it all: cleaner, Special Services team member, Special Services manager, Operations Manager in Madison, Operations manager of our Fox Valley branch, and now Regional Business Development Manager. Dave has a wealth of skills and experience in floor and carpet care. As changing technology in Special Services continues to affect everything from carpet fibers to floor finishes, he and his staff work hard to stay on top of the best practices in the industry.
Married to Gina (a former EC employee!), Dave likes to play disc golf in his free time, which, unfortunately, with 3 children doesn’t happen often enough.
Ryan Polcyn, Sales Manager, Fox Valley
Responding to our need for an increased sales staff, Ryan Polcyn started February 1, 2006. He graduated from Carthage College in Kenosha with a degree in business & marketing, following in the footsteps of others in his family. Currently based in Appleton, Ryan says he loves the challenge of sales, “especially if you believe in what you’re selling!” He feels that he has no trouble selling Environment Control, after watching the Operations Team and the personal, direct commitment that they bring to each account.
A self-declared “sports nut,” Ryan would love to be the General Manager of a baseball team, if only for a day: recruiting management talent would be the most fun of all. Pinning him down to which team was hard – he couldn’t choose between the Brewers or the Braves. He loves to go home on weekends to watch his dad coach his younger brother’s baseball team. But there’s not much time for that now that he and his wife, Brooke, are proud new parents!
