Melody joined Environment Control in 2015 on a part-time basis to provide additional support for recruiting. In 2016, after successful careers as marketing director for Intervarsity Christian Fellowship’s Urbana Student Missions Conference, and then raising a very busy family, Melody moved into the challenging full-time role of accounting upon Jan Concklin’s retirement, while continuing to lend her marketing talents and skills to the company’s recruitment efforts. In 2017, recognizing her true passion for helping people and her interest in reaching out to and welcoming the diverse communities around us, Melody moved into the role of Director of Recruitment and Outreach for the company.
Outside of the office, Melody pursues her creative passions as a writer, poet, and published author, and as a photographer. Born into a missionary family, Melody developed a deep interest in and respect for international cultures, traditions, travel and cuisines.
